Trump University Founded For Student 'Customers'

Trump University will be comprised of Internet courses, information-rich CDs, consulting services and quick, intensive classes for students, referred to as "customers." The Associated Press quoted the chairman and chief executive of Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts (otc: DJTCQ - news - people ), which is freshly emerged from bankruptcy--as explaining, "In today's hyper-competitive business climate, the need for the highest-quality education has become more crucial than ever. But people are looking beyond the traditional business education model, which involves hours in the classroom and relies primarily on book learning." Courses will cost $300 and will take one to two weeks to complete. Will the embryonic online hall of learning attract students? According to the AP, the real estate developer sounds unsurprisingly confident. "When I make speeches, a lot of people show up," he said. "A lot of people."
